Have Questions? We've Got Answers!
Everything you need to know about your visit, our services, and what to expect.
How often should I visit the dentist?
Most patients benefit from a dental exam and professional cleaning every six months, but your recommended schedule may vary based on your oral health, risk of gum disease, and existing dental conditions. We’ll recommend a visit frequency that’s right for you.
What happens during my first dental appointment?
Your first visit includes a comprehensive dental exam, digital X-rays if needed, and a conversation about your oral health goals and concerns. We’ll explain our findings, answer your questions, and create a personalized treatment plan before recommending any treatment.
Do I need dental X-rays at every visit?
Not always. Digital dental X-rays are only recommended when they’re needed to diagnose problems that can’t be seen during a visual exam, and the frequency depends on your oral health history and risk of dental disease.
How early should I arrive for my appointment?
If you’re a new patient, we recommend arriving about 10 to 15 minutes early to complete any remaining paperwork and get settled before your visit. Returning patients can typically arrive a few minutes before their scheduled appointment.
What are my options for replacing missing teeth?
The best tooth replacement option depends on your oral health, lifestyle, and goals. During your consultation, our Brighton dentists will discuss solutions such as dental implants, implant-supported dental bridges, traditional bridges, and dentures to help you restore a healthy, confident smile.
